Steps to get started on Plooto

Congratulations on getting started with Plooto. You are well on your way to never writing a check again!  The sign-up process is outlined below:  

Sign up on the Plooto website and complete the registration form. Once complete, you'll be asked to verify your e-mail address.  From there, you'll be directed to the Plooto dashboard and see the outstanding verification steps to activate your account. You'll also be able to explore the features within the platform.

1. Complete the verification process: For new companies, you will see the outstanding verification steps on the Dashboard.  Once all 3 items are successfully complete, your account will be able to send and receive payments.  In the case that any step are pending review, our compliance team will review the cases within 2-3 business days and will prompt if any additional actions are required.  If you face any issues during the verification process, you can contact our Compliance Team directly at

2. Add additional users: If there are any other users that need to be added (that were not added as a signing authority when adding your bank account), now's a good time!  Plooto is designed to fit your organization by allowing you to set customized permissions for each user.
3. Add contacts
Before paying or collecting from anyone on Plooto, you will need to add them to your list of contacts. The quickest way to add a contact is outlined here

4. Add a payment: After completing the verification process and adding your contacts information, you are now ready to send your first payment or payment request.  Note: if any of the signing authorities or the company verification steps are outstanding, transactions will be held until completed
