What does the recipient see when they receive a payment request?

After a payment request is sent, the individual is sent an e-mail notification. 
A sample of the e-mail the individual would receive is shown below:




Following the Make Payment link, the individual is directed onto the Plooto platform

If their bank account information is still outstanding, First time users will be asked to provide their bank account information.

Once the bank account information is provided, Plooto will send the individual a micro-deposit with a PIN to validate their bank account information.  This will typically take 1 to 2 business days.



After successfully entering their PIN, the Payment Request will be processed from their account.


The PIN code process is a one time event.  Once it has been completed for an individual, future Payment Requests that are issued will be completed without this step.
